It's easy to invite additional firms to participate in your PERSUIT request after it has been published and is in the Open to Proposals or Evaluating stage. Doing so enables you to obtain a broader and more competitive range of proposals, both in terms of price as well as qualitative factors such as expertise or strategy.
Inviting Firms to your Request
Navigate to the Firms tab of the request in question. You will find the Invite button above the list of firms.
The Invite Contacts pop-up will expand.
The Firms tab shows all the firms engaged by your organization on PERSUIT with available filters to help you pinpoint the best firms to invite to your matter.
There is a search bar for you to find firms or individual lawyers more directly.
The Tags filter will populate any tags built in Firm Profiles by your organization to allow you to search through key attributes.
The last filter is the Firm Lists filter that allows you to select appropriate Firm Lists created by your group through our Panel Management feature. Each firm list can have specific instructions on when and how to engage its members.
You can also view the instructions and rules around your group's firm lists through the Instructions/Business Rules button.
The Add by Email tab allows you to simply type or enter a contact's email address. This is required when inviting "new" firm users to a request from your organization for the first time.
After entering the firm contact's address, press Add to Invitation List to ensure it is added to the Invitation List.
For all of the above methods, you can review your selected contacts before sending the request using the Invitation List tab.
Remove users from this list (if necessary) using the Remove button to the right of the contact's information.
Press Save Changes to finalize removing the firm contact from the invitation list.
After approving the Invitation List, press Send. Then press Confirm on the next screen to finalize the decision and issue the request.
You'll know that the firm has been successfully added if you see them in the list of firms within the Firms tab of the request.
