To invite your contacts to the request, go to the Invite section of the request drafting screen.
The Invite section will have a few different ways a firm contact can be added to your request:
- The All Contacts Tab
- The Firm Lists Tab
- The Add by Email Tab
ALL CONTACTS
This tab allows you to find specific firm contacts by viewing all the existing contacts for your group and selecting the chosen firm contact or by using the search bar at the top of the section to type out the address of the firm contact you are looking to invite.
Include a firm contact to invite to your request in this tab by clicking the check box to the left of the firm contact's name.
You will know a firm contact has been added to the invitation list successfully when you see the green pop-up box at the bottom of your screen with the message: "A contact has been added to the Invitation List." and the counter next to the Invitation list tab will update to reflect the changes being made.
FIRM LISTS
This tab allows you to view the firm lists created by your group that organizes preferred firms by things like jurisdiction or practice area. Each firm list can have specific instructions on when and how to use the firms within them.
In a specific firm list, click the down arrow to the right to view the firm's within the firm list.
Expand a specific firm found within the firm list to view the contact's available in that firm.
Include a firm contact to invite to your request in this tab by clicking the check box to the left of the firm contact's name.
ADD BY EMAIL
Using this tab allows you to simply type out a contact's email address, if easier for you.
After typing the firm contact's address, press the Add to Invitation List button to ensure it gets added to the Invitation List.
INVITATION LIST
No matter which method you use, you'll get to review your selected contacts before sending and publishing the request using the Invitation List tab.
You can remove users from this list, if necessary, by pressing the Remove button to the right of the firm contact's information.
Press Save Changes to finalize removing the firm contact from the invitation list.
After you’ve finalized the invitation list, you can send and publish your request by pressing the Send button at the top right of the screen.
Once the request is sent, the contacts will not only have access to the request but will also receive all notifications, including emails, relating to the request. You can invite new firms at any time during the request process by adding contacts, even after the draft has already been sent.
