Process to onboard law firms
- Send them the below email just before you launch your RFP.
- Send them a request through PERSUIT by entering their email address in the Invite section and they will be invited to log in to see the request.
Firms can email support@persuit.com if they are having any issues finding the welcome email. That is why we recommend sending the below email to them prior to sending a PERSUIT RFP for the first time. You should not risk under-communicating.
We don't need set up accounts ahead of time. Once firms are invited to a request, they automatically have an account created and just need to set up their password and profile when they log in.
Onboarding law firms in bulk
You can bulk upload contacts and their associated firm into your contact directory, to make the contacts more readily visible and available to invite by your fellow users. Please email a list of user emails and their firm to support@persuit.com.
Templated copy to share with firms
Dear [Firm]
We are now using PERSUIT, an outside counsel engagement platform for a matter-by-matter RFP and AFA program to ensure we retain the right counsel for each matter, at the right price.
This will also deliver benefits for you such as greater visibility and opportunities, a fairer evaluation process based on objective selection criteria, and pricing transparency.
When we invite you to an RFP via PERSUIT, you will receive an email from notifications@persuit.com, which will automatically create an account for you to log in at app.persuit.com.
If you cannot see the email from PERSUIT it may be in your spam/junk folder. Please check your spam/junk folder and advise your IT department to permit @persuit emails to bypass your filters. If you still need help please email support@persuit.com.
For support, PERSUIT provides extensive FAQ and videos at support.persuit.com, with 24/7 assistance available at support@persuit.com.
We look forward to this new way of working with you,
Regards,
[Client Legal Team]
I have invited the law firm but they have not received it?
This may be an issue with spam/junk filters. Please ask them to check their spam or junk folder. They may also need to request their IT team changes their filter settings.
How do I monitor a law firm's response and status?
On the FIRMS tab of any request, you can see their participation. This shows when they were invited, as well as if and when they viewed the request, cleared conflicts, agreed to participate or submitted their proposal. If they have not agreed to participate or submitted a proposal and the deadline is approaching, you should reach out to confirm their intentions.
