The Settings page lives in the expandable left hand side navigation on any page.
This is a key part of onboarding, ensuring that you have the correct setup to meet your organization's preferences and needs. You should - and will - work with your Customer Success Manager during the onboarding phase to understand and make these decisions.
Note: Only users with Group Manager access can view and edit Settings. Please reach out to support@persuit.com with any questions or requests regarding account permissions.
In Settings, you can view and/or update the following:
- Group Profile
- External Collaborators
- Teams
- Contacts Directory
- Custom Tracking Fields
- Custom Emails
- Analytics Settings
- Rules & Governance
Group Profile
This is where you can update: Group Name; Preferred currency; Savings calculation method; Preferred date filter for reporting.
Diversity Settings
Registered email domains
External Collaborators
Here, Group Managers can invite external consultants to their organization to carry out actions such as drafting requests on their behalf. This is all in a controlled and secure environment while keeping data protected. This article explains more.
Teams
This contains the list of teams and users within your group.
You'll also be able to manage those who request to join specific teams for organizations with SSO/SAML set up. See this article for more information on managing new team member requests.
Contacts Directory
View all the individual suppliers and firms that have been invited to your group's requests. Individual suppliers and firms for your group can be removed through this setting.
While individual suppliers and firms can be invited to any request, if you would like to proactively add your contacts directory to improve discoverability for colleagues, please reach out to support@persuit.com. The support team has a bulk import functionality, but please note that with this, public email domains (e.g. gmail.com or yahoo.com) cannot be used when creating a new firm org.
Custom Tracking Fields
These provide additional request tagging capabilities, and are very valuable for greater data insights, as well as providing continuity between PERSUIT and your other processes and tools. We recommend reading this article and spending some time planning this section properly.
Custom Emails
Use this setting to edit the message sent to firms following an unsuccessful proposal. View this article for more information on what that message will look like for firms.
Analytics Settings
View and track all the requests your group has published and determine which request gets included or excluded in the reporting data. This article explains how to exclude a request.
Rules and Governance
Organisations can now enforce clear, consistent scoring criteria by adding a mandatory scorecard category with a minimum weighting along with proposal selection restrictions (lowest bid or highest score only). This article has more information around setting business guidelines for your organization.
