Why do I not have the ability to add an auction to my published request?

In order to add an auction to your published request, your request must meet these specific requirements:

• The request must include a total price or some pricing items that constitute a comparison value.
  • Rate cards and hourly rates do not meet these requirements. If your request only has rate cards or hourly rates within the pricing items, it will not be possible to add an auction. 
• The request must not have had a prior auction. 
  • If your request has already had an auction, you will not be able to add another auction after that.
