PERSUIT understands that as a matter evolves and proposals are received, you may want to add a reverse auction to the process to help you find true market value for your matter. You can do so after it's been published for most stages: see here for auction timeline functionality.
There are two ways to add a reverse auction to an existing request:
1) The Add an Auction button found at the top of the specific request.
Once you click it, you'll see a timeline form that you can fill out to schedule the future auction.
You'll then see a confirmation screen with the newly added auction date to confirm and finalize your decision.
You'll know the auction has been successfully added to your request when you see an auction timeline appear at the top of your request, the auction details appear above your request's matter summary and a clarification with the new timeline has been posted.
2) The Edit Request button found at the top of the request.
After you click on Edit Request, an Edit Request pop-up will appear and the Add an Auction option will be visible.
Selecting the Add an Auction button will take you through the same process described above of scheduling and confirming the future auction.
If you notice that your request does not have the option to Add an Auction, whether through the request navigation bar or through the Edit Request menu (the Add an Auction button is greyed out), you can view this article for more information.
