Price Benchmarking in the proposal flow (Release 362)
You can now see how each firm's pricing compares to the market without leaving the proposal compare table. Where a client has access, an industry benchmark appears directly under each firm's total price — a box plot showing the market fee distribution (25th percentile, median, 75th) with the firm's bid marked on it — and under individual pricing items where data exists.
- Show or hide benchmarks from the compare table action bar; they default to showing when data is available.
- View Detailed Benchmarks opens the full Price Benchmarking page, pre-filtered to the current matter's type, currency and phases.
- How are Benchmarks Calculated? explains the methodology and what each label means.
Access to benchmarks in the compare table is enabled by your PERSUIT representative and granted by your group manager. This means market context sits right where you evaluate proposals, with no separate navigation.
Win/Loss Reports (Release 363)
Firms can now get structured feedback on the proposals they submit through PERSUIT. A new Win/Loss page in the main navigation lists reports for eligible proposals, showing how the firm ranked, how its pricing compared, and what the competitive field looked like — with competing firms anonymized. Reports respect the visibility rules of the original RFP and can be downloaded to share off-platform.
On the client side, program leads control whether Win/Loss Reports are generated for their organization's proposals, either across the organization or for an individual RFP.
This closes a feedback loop that hasn't existed before, giving firms a clear signal to sharpen their next proposal.
Mobile-friendly interface for client users (Release 368)
PERSUIT now works on a phone for client users. Instead of a desktop layout squeezed onto a small screen, client users on a phone get a clean, usable view for the things that are time-sensitive on the go:
- Triage active requests, and see Proposals Due Soon and Upcoming Auctions.
- Read a request or a proposal, and reply to messages.
- Follow a notification email on your phone and land directly in the right mobile view.
It's the same PERSUIT — the same URLs, no app to download, and nothing to switch on. Some detailed views, such as the proposal editor and the Rates, Firms and Analytics tabs, remain desktop-only for now, and firm-side mobile is still to come.
Matter intake: CSV import, new field types, and smarter AI Smart Scoping (Release 369)
Three improvements for clients working with matters:
- Import matters from CSV. Bulk-import matters from the All Matters page instead of creating each one by hand. Download a template built from your own matter form, upload up to 1,000 rows, and get validation on missing fields, dates and unrecognized users before anything is created. Valid rows import even if others need fixing, and anyone tagged on a matter is given access automatically.
- New custom field types. Matter forms now support Radio Button and User Picker (single or multi-select of people from your own organization) fields. Anyone added through a User Picker field is automatically given access to the matter.
- Smarter AI Smart Scoping. Smart Scoping now recommends the most relevant template from your library based on your brief, rather than defaulting to a single PERSUIT best-practice template. Accept the recommendation, choose an alternative, or browse the templates you're permitted to use — all governed by your organization's template settings.
Quality-of-life improvements (Release 366)
- Word export now includes a Proposal Summary section and clearer question formatting — answer type, character limit and required/optional shown for each question — with header details on a single line for easier scanning.
- Proposal view now shows who submitted the proposal ("Submitted by [name]").
- Contacts Directory now has the Relationship Manager toggle inline on each row, and the delete action is less prominent, so the page is easier and safer to work with.
- Email notifications now start their subject line with "PERSUIT:" and state the notification type, making them easier to triage — including on a phone.
