You can easily copy any request at any status to save you time and effort when creating a new request of similar scope.
Copying a sent or withdrawn request:
Click Copy found in the navigation bar at the top of the request. A confirmation box will pop-up, click Copy again to confirm your decision.
You will be taken directly to the request drafting screen where you can replace previous matter specific details with new request details. You will also find the title of the request to be the same as the original request along with (Copy) at the beginning. Be sure to change the title of the new request before sending out to the firm(s).
Copying a draft request:
In the drafting screen, you'll find the Copy button within the ellipses icon at the top right.
This takes you to a drafting screen of the duplicate holding the same content and details from the previous request. You'll know it's the copied version because you'll see (Copy) at the front of the title. Be sure to change the title of the new request before sending out to the firm(s).
Best practice recommendations:
Duplicating an existing PERSUIT request may not always be the best course of action, especially for much older requests, in case the original template used has since become outdated.
Templates are often refined, by client template managers (typically your legal ops team) as well as PERSUIT's legal advisory team. This includes incremental improvements to RFP structure and wording, as well as alignment with your organization's latest requirements and policies.
When considering duplicating an older request, we recommend checking your template library to explore the latest and greatest, to ensure that you send the highest possible quality request.
