Use PERSUIT's Panel Management feature to create Firm Lists that direct and influence the providers your organization uses for specific matters. It allows you to group certain firms together on common arrangements or characteristics, such as panel membership, jurisdiction, practice area, relationship status, etc. Firm Lists exist at the Group (not Team) level.
The Panel Management feature lives in the expanded left sidebar menu.
Firm Lists live in the Panel Management page. Use the Create or New Firm List button to get started.
Note: Only Group Managers can create Firm Lists in Panel Management. Non-Group Manager users still have read-only access.
There are three main steps to creating a list:
- List Settings - Define the purpose of a list for your organization.
- Select Firms - The providers to be included in a list.
- Review List - Review and confirm the list before creation.
Step 1 - List Settings
Start by selecting the type of list whether Panel, Approved, or neither.
Set the name of the list. Add a short description of why this list was created (optional, but recommended).
Define instructions for your colleagues to understand when this list should be used (optional, but recommended).
Lastly, publish this list for a certain time period allowing it to be available for a specific project or time of year (optional, but recommended).
Press Next once you have filled out the required fields in Step 1.
Step 2 - Select Firms
From the table that shows the existing firms in your organization's PERSUIT contact directory, select as many firms as you would like to include in any given list.
Scroll up and down, or use the search bar as needed to locate and select the relevant firms.
Add a firm to the list by using the checkbox to the left of the firm name.
You will see the total number of firms selected at the bottom of the table update as the firms are chosen.
Press Next to move on to the final step of creating a list.
Step 3 - Review List
Lastly, before creating and publishing the firm list, review your firm selections and instructions.
Use Back to return to the previous steps and make any necessary changes.
Press Create List to confirm and finalize the firm list you have created.
You will see the newly created list on the Panel Management page.
