PERSUIT’s Insights 2.0 is a collection of real-time analytics dashboards to explore how your organization is performing, what value you are driving through PERSUIT, and more.
Note: If you feel you should have access to Insights (which live at the Group level), but currently don't, please contact your company's program manager or your PERSUIT customer success manager.
Navigating to Insights
Hover over the left hand menu. When expanded, click Insights.
Configuring Insights
Filters
At the top of the page, you’ll see an All Filters button. You can filter by Request Sent Date Range, Provider Status, Request Status, Team, and Custom Fields. Use these options to narrow the data displayed as needed - any selected filters will also carry through to every dashboard and to your exports.
Data Glossary
To the right of the page, you’ll see a link to PERSUIT’s Data Glossary which is a centralized reference defining the metrics, terms, and calculations used across PERSUIT analytics, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trust in reported data.
Settings
Next to the Data Glossary, you’ll find Settings, where you can configure various options related to reporting and the data used in the dashboards.
You can choose the Savings Calculation method for your group.
Select the Preferred Date Filter that should be used as the default filter when viewing Insights and other reports.
Use the Enable Diversity toggle to show or hide the Diversity tab and related visuals in Insights. Disabling it hides all Diversity reporting for your group.
You can also exclude or re-include a request in Insights reporting at any time using the Track Request Data in Analytics table.
Insights Dashboard
You’ll find six categories, each covering a different aspect of your adoption through high-level KPIs.
-
Executive summary - an overview of your request volume, agreed fees and cost savings. Plus, monthly usage trends, and the specific details of those RFPs.
-
Firms - stats related to the law firms or legal service providers you engage. Who is being invited to the most RFPs? Who is participating the most?
-
Diversity - understand how frequently the Diversity Module is used, see how often you’re awarding firms with diverse timekeepers (among other stats) and how those law firms are responding to diversity questions.
-
AFAs and Auctions - how often are you using AFAs? How often are you leveraging auctions, and what are the resulting savings?
-
Adoption - how many of your users are creating RFPs, who is the most efficient user, and who has achieved the greatest savings?
- Workflow Completion - an overview of your RFP workflow process that can highlight problematic behaviors like failure to select proposals (which may impact data accuracy), or draft RFPs not progressing through to send.
Each section tab includes several detailed charts and visuals displayed directly beneath the KPIs.
The charts include a dynamic time range filter that automatically updates the data based on your selection. The dates highlighted in yellow indicate the selected time range.
Customizing and Filtering Data Reports
At the bottom of each section tab, you’ll find the available data reports related to that category. These data reports include comprehensive metrics and data points covering all aspects of your organization’s usage. Please refer to this article for a complete list of the data points available in each report.
Use the down arrow to expand and view the full reports related to this section.
Each data report has a unique filter feature available to allow you to layer desired metrics and customize the report to fit your specific needs. Click Filters to access the customizable filters.
When the Filters window appears, first choose the Column you’d like to filter by within this report. In this example, we’ve selected Request ID.
Next, select the Operator which defines the condition used to match the values in the column you’re filtering. In this example, we’ve chosen Contains.
Lastly, select the Value or specific criteria you want the data to match. In this example, we’re selecting a specific request ID.
You can add and/or layer on additional filters using the Add Filter button.
Clear any selected filters by clicking on the Remove All button.
Exporting Data Reports to Excel
Every data report in Insights includes built-in export functionality. Press the Export button to download the data as a CSV or Excel file, and any filters applied will automatically be reflected in the exported report.
