Data Glossary
To the right of the page, you’ll see a link to PERSUIT’s Data Glossary which is a centralized reference defining the metrics, terms, and calculations used across PERSUIT analytics, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trust in reported data.
Settings
Next to the Data Glossary, you’ll find Settings, where you can configure various options related to reporting and the data used in the dashboards. For more information, view this article.
Business Review Dashboard
You'll find three category tabs that each cover a different aspect of a firm's performance via high-level KPIs and unique charts for further insights.
Activity Breakdown
The Activity Breakdown tab shows an overview of the firm’s activity within the chosen timeframe, including a request performance funnel and how they compete across matter types.
Activity Breakdown Metrics
- Toggle between # of Requests and Value of Requests in the top right.
- Requests invited to: this is the total amount for the selected firm in the selected time frame
- Requests participated in: firms sometimes do not to participate in requests they were invited to (this can be for a number of reasons, including conflicts of interest or bandwidth or missing the invitation). The resulting number here is those they do choose to accept.
- Requests win rate: how many requests the firm won out of those participated in.
- Note: this rate will likely differ between # of requests and value of requests.
- Ex: If a firm wins 5 out of 10 requests participations, that’s a 50% win rate by count. Even if a firm was invited to 15 requests, the denominator is 10 (the number that they participated in).
Request Performance Analysis: Invitations, Wins and Everything in Between Funnel
- This overall requests performance funnel shows the breakdown of the selected firm's performance across all requests in the given time period.
- This chart will change to value when you toggle between # of requests and value of requests at the top right of the page
Request Invitations, Participation, and Wins by Matter Type
- The performance breakdown of requests by matter type is especially helpful for identifying where this firm might have more opportunities to win, or where they should scale back resources on competing if it’s likely not going to be fruitful for them. This data helps to inform future outcomes for firms.
Activity Breakdown Table
- This is an exportable table that shows all the requests this firm has been invited to and includes pertinent information including request creator, outcome and more
Competitive Intelligence
Benchmarking data to help firms see how they stack up against peers, both in terms of win rates and proposal pricing.
Competitive Intelligence Metrics
- When Firm Wins vs. When Firm Loses: two sets of metrics to highlight how the firm’s participation impacts wins and losses. In each set you’ll find:
- Lowest Bid Win Rate: percentage of losses where a competitor won with the lower-priced proposal
- Highest Bid Win Rate: percentage of wins where the selected firm submitted the highest-priced proposal
- Average Global Rank of Competitors: average global rank of firms submitting proposals when the selected firm won
- Average Request Value: average final value of requests won by the selected firm
Pricing Variance Charts
- Two charts to explore how the firm’s proposal pricing is compared to the average market price on proposals the firm won or lost for your organization to identify how pricing influenced outcomes.
Proposal Feedback
The Proposal Feedback section collects all the shared proposal feedback to the selected firm, showing average scorecard ratings and comments on how they could have improved
Proposal Feedback Metrics
- Average Rating: average score provided by reviewers across all rated proposals submitted by the selected firm
- Proposals Reviewed: total number of proposals submitted by the selected firm that received at least one rating or comment
- Comments Provided: total number of written feedback comments provided across the firm's proposals reflecting qualitative insights shared
- Total Reviewers: this shows how many unique reviewers contributed feedback
Feedback by Category
View how the selected firm’s proposals were scored across key evaluation categories, highlighting strengths and opportunities for improvement based on reviewer feedback.
Proposal Feedback Provided Table
This table provides a detailed view of the written feedback shared on firm proposals, allowing for a deeper look at the qualitative insights and context behind the ratings.
