You can share a request with a colleague at any stage of the request process. This powers collaboration on drafting any sections, scoring and evaluating, providing feedback, completing requests and proposal selection.
Sharing can be done while drafting, or after sending.
Share the request with colleagues while drafting:
When in the request drafting screen, you'll find the Share button at the right of the top navigation bar. Different users can edit separate (but not the same) sections of a draft.
In the Share pop-up, find the colleague you wish to share with by:
- entering their email address
- using the search bar
- selecting from the list of existing PERSUIT users
You can also include a message to your colleague(s) to provide any additional information or context before clicking on the Share button to finalize the process, and trigger an automated invitation email.
Share the request with colleagues after it has been sent:
At the top of the published request's navigation bar, click the Share button to get started.
Just like the process of sharing a request in the drafting stage, in the pop-up, enter the recipient's email address, use the search bar, or select from the list of colleagues with an existing account.
Include a message to your colleague(s) to provide them with any supplemental information before clicking on the Share button to finalize the process, and trigger an automated invitation email.
What will someone see if they do not have access to a request?
If you follow a PERSUIT link but land on this page with the message "You don't have access to this request", it means that someone has sent the link to you, without sharing the request to give you the requisite permissions. Please ask the sender to share it with you directly, following the instructions above.
Can I see a history of who has or had access to a request?
Yes. See this article for how to explore a detailed history of when colleagues or firms were added or removed from the request.
What about law firms - can they share requests?
Law firms and providers follow a similar process on their side for sharing with their colleagues, as outlined in this article. They can also use the Designated Contacts feature to automatically triage invitations to the right people.
