PERSUIT’s Competitive Intelligence offers valuable insights into your performance on requests and auctions compared to competitors on the PERSUIT platform. With this data, you can pinpoint strengths, address areas for improvement, and refine strategies to enhance client engagement and boost win rates.
Navigating to Competitive Intelligence
You can find Competitive Intelligence in the expandable main menu at the left of the screen.
Note: Competitive Intelligence Executive Summary is available to all firms. The Proposal Performance and Wallet share is a premium feature. If you would like your firm to have access to this feature, please reach out to our Firm Growth team at lawfirm_sales@persuit.com.
Competitive Intelligence
At the top of the Competitive Intelligence page, you’ll find a purple filter section that holds drop-down menus for Timeframe, Practice Areas, Client Sector and RFPs with Auction. Use these filters to tailor the data shown to your needs.
There is also a date stamp right above the filter section that shows you when Competitive Intelligence was last updated. This is automatically updated multiple times per day.
Competitive Intelligence Categories
Underneath the filter section, you’ll find three different category tabs:

Note: if there is not enough information to provide a confidential analysis (to protect both other firms and clients), within any of the sections, then no information will be shown and an error message will appear that reads “No Data Available” and to try different or fewer filters to broaden the search.
Executive Summary
The Executive Summary category provides a high-level overview of your firm’s business on PERSUIT. This is available to all firm users on PERSUIT.
You can view key performance metrics such as Requests Invited to, Won, Win Rate, Declined or Unresponsive Rate. The view can change by Value or by # of Requests.
Next is a Performance Analysis visual that shows the flow of invitations, participation, and won RFPs for the law firm.
You can also view Top Clients and Sectors for your law firm.
Lastly, there is a Request Details table where you can view any and all requests your firm has been invited to by clients with the ability to export the data.
Proposal Performance
The Proposal Performance category allows you to understand how your firm performed compared to PERSUIT averages and benchmarks. This is a premium offering and is only available to firms that have opted in.
You’ll find a number of situational analyses around when your proposal won or lost including how often the selected proposal was the lowest priced, how often the selected proposal was the highest priced, average competitor's global rank, and average anticipated revenue per matter.
There are analyses of the variance of your proposals’ price compared to other firms in your own cohort by Wins and by Losses.
You'll also find all feedback ratings and comments by category given by clients on your firm's proposals.
Wallet Share
The final category is Wallet Share which is an analysis that can show you how your firm is capturing a certain industry’s wallet share to give you insights on potential growth. This is a premium offering and is only available to firms that have opted in.
You can view an in-depth analysis of your firm’s involvement on PERSUIT including invitation percentage of the total wallet on PERSUIT, participation percentage of the total amount you’ve been invited to, and the winning percentage of the total amount of decided requests.
Lastly, you’ll find a wallet share table that provides you with information by Invited Amount/Won Amount for sectors you’ve participated in and your ranking compared to your peers.
