When a Client invites you to submit a proposal for an RFP, they may enable the Conflict Check feature, which allows them to list details they want Firms to consider when clearing conflicts right at the start of the process, before viewing the RFP, or accepting terms, and/or signing an NDA.
The easiest way to request more information to help you clear any conflicts of interest is through the Messages feature using the External Channel. Or, via email.
The Messages feature is found at the top of any RFP, which includes both an external as well as an internal channel.
The External Channel allows you to message the Client directly. Use this to ask them to provide you with more information about clearing conflicts of interest.
If the client is unresponsive via the Messages feature, we recommend contacting them via email or phone.
The Internal Channel is private to you and your colleagues to discuss the RFP. Anyone at your firm who has been given access to the RFP will have access to this messaging channel. The Client will not see any messages exchanged in this channel.
