When a Client invites you to submit a proposal for an RFP, they may enable our Conflict Check feature in order to clear conflicts of interest right at the start of the process. The Conflict Check feature allows the Clients to list details they want Firms to consider when clearing conflicts, viewing the RFP, or accepting terms and/or signing an NDA. The easiest way to request more information to help you clear conflicts of interest would be through PERSUIT’s private Messages feature using the External Channel.
There are two main channels in our Messages feature: the Internal Channel and External Channel. You can find the Messages feature at the top of the RFP.
The Internal Channel is a private system for you and your colleagues at your Firm to use to speak about the current RFP. Any person at your firm who has been given access to the RFP will have access to this channel and the messages within it. The Client will not see any messages exchanged in this channel.
The External Channel is a system that allows you to message directly with the Client that has invited you to the request. This is where you can ask them to provide you with more information in order to clear conflicts of interest.
