Group Managers can now edit and delete centralized Terms & Conditions directly from Settings at any time. Changes apply to all future requests, and deleting T&Cs includes a confirmation step before taking effect.
Note: Only Group Managers can create, edit, or delete Terms & Conditions. Drafters and other user roles will see T&Cs in read-only mode and edit controls will not be visible to them.

Navigating to the Rules & Governance page
This lives within Settings at the bottom of the expanded main menu.
Note: if you do not see Settings, this means you do not have Group Manager access. Please reach out to support@persuit.com if you would like access, cc'ing another Group Manager for approval.
Click Rules & Governance found in the Settings.
You’ll find Request Terms & Conditions in the Rules & Governance page.
Creating New Terms & Conditions
Click + Create New Terms & Conditions. These will appear on every request by your group.
Fill out the fields in the modal, starting with a name in the Details field.
Next, use the Terms & Conditions field to add the standard, contractual language that will appear on all requests. This may include binding offer terms, billing guidelines, confidentiality, cost responsibilities, termination rights, and other conditions.
Use the Attach Files button at the bottom of the window for supplementary documents.
Press Save Changes after you’ve finished setting up your T&Cs.
You can only have one set of centralized Terms & Conditions per group. Once T&Cs have been created, the Create New Terms & Conditions button will be greyed out. To make changes to your existing T&Cs, click Edit on the existing entry.
Note: if any existing templates include T&Cs within the Summary section, there may be some duplication when standardized T&Cs are set. View this article to learn how to edit and manage templates.
Editing the Terms & Conditions
You can edit or delete the Terms & Conditions for your group at any time. There are two levels at which T&Cs can be edited: at the group level, which updates the default for all future requests, and at the request level, which applies changes to one specific RFP only.
Editing at the group level
In the Request Terms & Conditions section, press Edit on the existing entry, make your changes, and press Save Changes.
Make your edits and press save changes. Changes made here will apply to all new requests going forward. Requests that have already been published will retain the version of T&Cs that was active when they were sent.
Press Delete to remove the inclusion of T&Cs in your group’s requests moving forward. All published requests with existing T&Cs will remain.
Editing at the request level
Group Managers can also edit T&Cs directly within a specific request draft without changing the group default. To do so, make changes to the T&Cs field within the Settings section of the draft. The T&Cs editor shows the group's centralized content. Any edits made here apply to this RFP only; the group default remains unchanged for all other requests.
Changes will be indicated by an icon labelled Request-level edit.
If you want to go back to using your group's standard T&Cs on that request, click Restore group default.
Note: Once a firm has submitted a proposal on a request, the T&Cs can no longer be edited.
What do the Terms & Conditions look like in a request for non-Group Managers?
Drafting Page & Preview
When drafting a request, users will see a Terms & Conditions section under the Settings. The Terms & Conditions will be automatically included in any new request draft and will always inherit the latest version.
The Using group default badge confirms that the request is currently using your group's centralized T&Cs. Only Group Managers can edit T&Cs at the request level. Other users will see the T&Cs in read-only mode.
They can also Preview their drafted request and find the Terms & Conditions at the bottom.
Published Requests
The Terms & Conditions will keep the version that was active when the request was published. In the Matter tab of the request, users will find the T&Cs at the bottom similar to the draft preview.
What happens if Terms & Conditions have not been set for my group?
If a Group Manager has deleted the group's T&Cs, the T&Cs section will be hidden entirely for non-Group Manager users on new requests — no warning will be shown.
