We’ve made it possible to invite firms using public email domains all while maintaining security and control. This removes friction and makes collaboration possible with smaller or international firms without corporate domains, supporting greater platform inclusivity while giving you full control over who you invite.
The approved public email domains are:
- Gmail.com
- Outlook.com
- iCloud.com
- Yahoo.com
- Aol.com
This feature is only available for organizations that have enabled it for their users in Settings.
How can I turn on and allow my organization to invite firms with public email domains?
First, navigate to Settings found in the expanded main menu.
Note: if you do not see Settings, this means you do not have Group Manager access. Please reach out to support@persuit.com if you would like access, cc'ing another Group Manager.
Click on Group Profile.
You’ll find the Firm Invitation Settings section at the end of the page. Toggle this feature on with the checkbox and press Save.
What happens if this feature is not turned on for the organization?
When not turned on, when your users get to the request invitation section and attempt to include an email using a public domain, they will receive an error message that asks them to enter a valid email address.
Please note that the approved public email domains can only be added from the RFP invitation page. They cannot be used in the bulk import tool when updating your Contacts Directory.
