New Features
Question Groupings
Overview
[Please note: for this update, we did not change the default behavior to questions inside the request draft, as they will still appear and work as usual; Question Groupings are simply a new, different way to present questions if needed].
Previously, if a user created a lot of different questions when drafting their request, it was impossible to 'group' together and/or move groups of questions around easily.
We're now introducing question groupings. This empowers users to put questions into different sections, facilitating easier reordering of question groups and organizing responses. This proves especially valuable in scenarios where RFPs involve extensive questionnaire sections like panels and preferred vendor requests. Below is a look at how question groups work.
There are now three options users have when creating a group or question.
- You can simply create a group of questions by clicking the "+ Group" button.
- You can add a new question to an existing group with the "+ Question to Group" button.
- Or you can add a standalone question (the existing, default behavior in the platform today) by clicking "+ Question" button. This will create a new question on its own outside of a group.
When a group of questions is created, you'll notice on the left hand side of the request draft that any questions under that group will be listed out as sub-items. That group title is also reflected where you edit/draft the questions. These updates are denoted by the arrows below.
You'll be able to edit the group title and sub-question titles however you see fit. You can also drag and drop the order of questions instantly.
Key benefits of this release:
- Drafting Efficiency: Especially in scenarios where RFPs involve extensive questionnaire sections like panels and preferred vendor requests, this update gives users far more flexibility and freedom when navigating the questionnaire section.
- Time-Saving Duplication: Users can now duplicate question groups as needed, saving time and effort in scenarios where similar sections are required across different RFPs.
- Custom Section Headers: Users can now label groups/sections appropriately, like "Diversity". This feature empowers users to structure their surveys in a way that aligns with their objectives, offering both customization and clarity.
- Question Bank Integration: In preparation for a future of standardized and reportable questions, this release sets the stage for integrating a question bank. Users can anticipate the inclusion of any standard question in the bank for repeatable usage.
Median Savings
Overview
We know customers have asked for different ways to measure their savings on PERSUIT. This update now provides a third option: median savings. This allows users more flexibility in defining their preferred savings. Customers will be able to select median savings as a new method in their Settings menu.
Median Savings is calculated as follows:
- Median Starting Price minus(-) Median Final Price
By using the median start and end price, savings will not be skewed by unusually high or low figures.
Please also note that moving forward, average savings will be the default savings method for all customers. If you've already indicated/updated your savings method, that will remain in place. This is only for new customers or those who have not updated their preference from the previous default.
