How do I place a bid during a live reverse auction?

In your PERSUIT homepage, find the request that has the live reverse auction. You'll know the auction is ongoing because you'll see a pink Request Status box that states AUCTION IN PROGRESS. 

Click View Auction found within the request. 

This will take you to the Comparison View screen. Depending on the auction type, you may be able to see competing firm's bids. You can find more information on the different auction types in this article.

To place a bid, click the Revise Proposal button found underneath the View Proposal button in the Comparison View.

There are two different ways to place a bid: Quick Price Revision or Revise Proposal.

The Quick Price Revision option allows you to quickly make changes to the Pricing Items only. You will not be able to make changes to any qualitative sections like the Summary or Questionnaire. 

After you make your desired changes, click Next to review your changes. Click Confirm to finalize placing the bid.

The Revise Proposal option allows for full proposal revision of any section. When you click on it, it will take you directly to the proposal drafting screen. You'll also be able to add revision comments for the client to communicate the changes that have been made. 

When the necessary changes have been made, click Submit found at the bottom of the drafting screen. A confirmation pop up will expand asking you to review your actions, press Submit to finalize the process.
