PERSUIT’s Reverse Auction lets you see in real-time where you rank vis-a-vis other firms that are participating in the same auction as you. There are two main ranking indicators displayed once an auction begins: Overall Ranking and Phase-Based Ranking. You will be able to see both of these rankings regardless of the auction type chosen by the client. These rankings are to help you understand how your firm compares to the market price and give you the information you need to successfully strategize next steps.
Overall Ranking
An auction is run on the basis of either a Total Price or Comparison Value which is chosen by the client. The first ranking you will see is the Overall Ranking which uses that chosen value to show how your firm ranks in comparison to the other participating firms. This is displayed at the top of your firm’s column in the Comparison view.
Phase-Based Ranking
The second ranking is the phase-based ranking. This ranking displays how your firm ranks in price at each individual item phase. You’ll be able to quickly see which phases have the biggest impact on your proposal.
Note: This ranking will not apply to hourly rates or discount price models.
