If you've received a link to a PERSUIT proposal or request but don't have the necessary access permissions, you can request access directly from the platform — no need to contact support or chase a colleague manually.
If you follow a PERSUIT link and land on a page showing the message "You don't have access to this request", it means the link was shared with you without the necessary access permissions being granted.
How do I request access?
From the no-access screen, click the Request Access button.
PERSUIT will automatically notify firm colleagues who already have access to the proposal or request. A confirmation message will appear on screen letting you know your request has been successfully submitted.
What happens next?
A firm colleague with access will receive a notification and can approve or deny your request from within the platform. For full details on how the approval works from their side, see the How do I approve or deny a colleague's request to access a proposal? section of How can I share a request invitation or proposal with colleagues?
Once a decision has been made, you'll receive an in-app and email notification letting you know whether your request was approved or denied.
A few things to note
- If no firm colleagues currently have access, the notification will go to your firm's designated contacts as a fallback. See What is a Designated Contact for client invitations, and do I need one?
- If your firm was not invited to the RFP at all, you'll see a different message and no Request Access button will be shown. Access cannot be granted through this flow to firms that were not originally invited.
- If you need access urgently, you can ask a colleague to share it with you directly rather than waiting for the approval flow. See How can I share a request invitation or proposal with colleagues?
