Enhancements
Rate Review Pro Named Timekeepers
Firms can now add individual named timekeeper information in their proposals, enabling a critical part of the Rate Review workflow for interested clients.
Rate Review Pro initially supported only blended standard rate cards, offering a limited experience for clients to negotiate rates for specific individuals without a cumbersome spreadsheet upload.
Now, we are thrilled to introduce the addition of 'Named Timekeepers' to the Rate Review Pro workflow so more of our customers can achieve what they want with this product.
Key Benefits:
- Flexibility Clients can now choose whether they want to invite firms to include named timekeepers in their proposals (or not).
- Comprehensive Data Capture Easily capture fields to enable analysis such as name, location, role, rates, and optionally collect timekeeper ID or graduation year.
- Bulk Upload Firms can effortlessly load their timekeepers in bulk by copying and pasting from their spreadsheets directly into the platform using the new ‘Data grid’ component—think full-screen Excel/Google Sheets (lite version).

- Clients have significant control over the data they receive from firms in the Rate Review Pro workflow. If they choose to collect named timekeepers at all (it’s optional) the following is mandatory:
- Can named timekeepers be negotiated?
- Yes, named timekeepers can be negotiated. Proposed rate only.
- Firms can provide an adjusted proposed rate as part of RFPR flow.
- The firm can also choose to update their entire proposal, allowing them to update other values provided for named timekeepers.
- Is the 'Named Timekeepers' feature optional for firms?
- Yes. Even if a client has requested named timekeepers, the firm can choose to not provide them.
- This is because there are scenarios where clients want to provide the option to add named timekeepers only for exceptions, rather than for all timekeepers.
- Can named timekeepers be viewed in the rate comparison table?
- No. Only standard rate cards are surfaced in the rates table.
- The named timekeeper info can be found in the rates detail view pop up as well as the proposal detail page.
- We made this choice to keep the work lean.
- How do you enable the load of bulk named timekeepers?
- The table serves as a form of an Excel sheet. This allows users to copy and paste data in and out of it.
- Click on the first cell in the 'Named Timekeepers' section within PERSUIT where you want to start pasting the data. Use the paste command (Ctrl+V or Command+V) to paste the copied data directly into the platform.
- Users can paste in entire rows, columns or both.
- Additionally, if there are more rows pasted than are available in the table, the table will automatically expand vertically to accommodate this pasted data.
Insights Updates
Updated Savings Percentage Calculation
Requests with greater savings amounts will now be weighted more heavily than those with lower savings amounts. We are excited about this change because we believe it better and more accurately captures the value PERSUIT delivers.
Previously, the savings percentage was calculated as a simple average of all the individual savings percentages from each RFP.
This meant that each RFP's savings percentage was given equal weight, regardless of the total savings amount involved.
Workflow Completion Tab
A brand new tab that will provide clients with an overview of their RFP process, highlighting areas where they may be getting stuck and prompting timely actions.
The Workflow Completion tab provides clients with a comprehensive view of their RFP hygiene, highlighting problematic behaviors like failure to select proposals, not providing feedback to firms, or failure to mark RFPs completed.
There is also a new export file containing this data.
New Leaderboards in Adoption Tab
Surfacing more leaderboards to generate engagement and foster conversations around power users.
Primarily aimed at LegalOps managers who want to promote user engagement with the PERSUIT platform and identify power users.
